The Science of Natural Fingerprints
Unlike heated or synthetic stones that lack internal structure, every unheated Ceylon sapphire houses a microscopic footprint created over 550 million years ago. Delicate rutile silk needles, zircon crystal halos, and fluid-filled feathers are nature's stamps of origin.
When assayers map these inclusions under magnification, they register a unique geometric layout that acts as a fingerprint. Because these layout variations are impossible to replicate, no two gemstones share the same inclusions. This makes counterfeit copycat swapping impossible.
